We woke up today to a winter wonderland. About an inch or two of snow had fallen sometime early this morning. It didn't take long before all the kids in the neighborhood were out playing trying to build the biggest snow balls. After a leisurely breakfast, I decided to take Jonah outside so he could play too. He was very intrigued by all this white stuff. He noticed that it stuck to his mittens and his shoes. He tasted it, but didn't like it much. He noticed that it kept track of where you walked, seeing his footprints for perhaps the first time. Best of all, it was a soft place to land if you happened to fall down. He would lay there examining the ground closely in the soft snow pillow.

Kim,
Yeah! I am glad to see you have a blog now. They are a lot of fun and a good way to update everyone in one place. Jonah is a cute little boy and I am sure you are enjoying your time as a mommy. I miss all you girls and love hearing all of your good news.

As we look at Jonah's snow day we are reminded of another snow day. Like father, Like Son. When all of us were in NY do you remember that big snow storm when Wayne and Billy were not able to get back to West Point. Wayne enjoyed his snow day.
Glad Jonah got to enjoy the snow! That's really cute about him discovering his foot prints! I don't know if Noah will ever see the snow here in Flo-town. There seems to keep being talk of snow, but it hasn't made it's way here yet- imagine that! We expect to keep seeing some pics on here!
Beautiful! What a delight to see Jonah's first play day in the snow! The expression on his face truly shows his excitement and wonderment! Brings me back to the day I took you to the snow for the first time (Tahoe, 2yrs old)- when I carried you out to a spot that looked like the perfect place to play and started to set you down - you clung on to me so tight and drew your little feet up not wanting anything to do with that strange white stuff. We slowly made friends with the cold icey flakes, but you were most happy getting back into the warm car and heading home. Love you all - Mom (Grammy)
